A dope cake is a method of consuming cannabis without smoking it. Essentially, a sponge cake, around eight inches diameter and usually chocolate flavour, is baked, but containing twice as much sugar as usual and about one quarter of an ounce of hashish resin, finely ground into the mixture.

Cakes and cookies containing hashish are available in countries with liberal drugs policies, particularly in European Brown Cafes.
